The game calls to mind SimTower in its management and building style, although you’re building down instead of up. You’ll need to keep track of your resources and protect your vault.

Shelter Game 2
You play the role of the vault supervisor. It’s up to you to set up power, food, and water stations to sustain your vault. Dwellers will approach your door, and you’ll need to assign them jobs to keep them busy and provide resources.
The interface is nice and clean. There’s a great bit of design here, which amounts to a kind of “folding away” system. The information you need is always present on screen, and whatever you don’t need will typically pop away. It keeps the screen clear so you can inspect your rooms and roles without visual interference.
Listen for the piano audio cue! If you hear it, that’s the mysterious stranger. If you find him and click on him in time, you’ll get bonus caps to spend on rooms.
The shortfall of the game is that there isn’t a whole lot to do. It’s made as a sort of inactive game, so you check in every hour or so but are active for only a couple of minutes to collect resources.
Gaining caps to spend is pretty easy, but the game presents microtransactions to boost your amount. This can make the game feel underwhelming, and take away the feeling of achievement when you hold a large sum of caps without paying.

Is there a better alternative?
No. You won’t find anything exactly like Fallout Shelter. If you’re looking for similar games, Oxygen Not Included is a great game to try.
Our take
Fallout Shelter is a good time-waster. It has satisfying mechanics and engaging in-between play. The biggest problem is that most of the game is spent idle, so you’ll only play for short bursts of time.

S.H.E.L.T.E.R. is the first game to be launched by its developer. It is one of the better and more coherent adult visual novels available today. In this game, you’ll encounter a large cast of characters and romance options to spice things up.
Additionally, your interactions and intentions are not simple to pull off. Its characters are extremely memorable and interesting. S.H.E.L.T.E.R. offers players great choices and it boasts of a supportive community aiding in its improvement.
Story
In S.H.E.L.T.E.R., you play in a post-apocalyptic world where you’ll have to join a group of other survivors to find a new home and settle in a modern shelter.
While living with your fellow survivors, you will have to create meaningful relationships with each other.Luckily, there are enough supplies to last you and other survivors for a century. This way, survival is not the name of the game. In shelter, you will have to ponder on what lies beyond the walls of your safehouse.
While exploring the world, you’ll meet lots of new characters and learn new things about the world. Alongside your new companions, you will have to fight for survival and scavenge for supplies and survival.
If you’re not one that’s up for much exploration, the game has you covered, and it allows you to stay in the shelter and bond with your fellow housemates.
This visual novel does not attach any limits to your fantasies. Many players can enjoy their own fetishes and interactive choices with other players.In the post-apocalyptic world of SHELTER, your encounters and some gameplay elements are reminiscent of Bethesda’s Fallout series. It requires some effort, but its not going to force all your energy to be directed towards survival like the Metro video game series. Games like Metro 2033 and Metro Exodus are for more “tryhard” gamers for lack of a better word.Alongside its adult visual novel counterparts like Manila Shaw: Blackmail’s Obsession, SHELTER has less options, but it still manages to be an interesting adventure.
Gameplay
S.H.E.L.T.E.R. is still currently in development, but it is playable. The game features the following planned fetishes, M/F, M/FF, F/F, F/M/F and other ones like Mind break, Mind control, Impregnation, Foot fetish and Femdom. We are fairly sure that satisfies at least one kink for most players. The game also has lots of playable scenes planned and selectively available for regular players and Patreon supporters of winterlook.
Thanks to its interactive visual novel style, players have a lot of freedom to choose how scenes playout. The developers have also put player tendencies into consideration. Therefore, there are more than a few choices for each scene. Thanks to its ambitious nature, the game requires a lot of support from the playerbase. If you’re someone hyped by the idea of S.H.E.L.T.E.R., it will be great to voice it out to winterlook on Patreon. Currently, he is working on a game called “The Fate of Irnia”, so S.H.E.L.T.E.R. is currently second priority.
Parasite is being developed by Winterlook as the writer, DSAlrich as the primary coder and Ebelisk as an artist. The game is also being composed by Slaleky. It features a competent team and it still has active support. Possibly soon, we might see a final build. Regardless, this game is one to watch out for among adult visual novel fans.
