  1. MSRP for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate: $59.99 Despite its old age, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is still being sold at its original MSRP of $59.99. Thankfully, there are plenty of sales you can take advantage of throughout the year if you’re hoping to join in on the fast-paced action.
  2. In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate there are plenty of Spirits to find and add to your collection, but you don’t have to keep every single one of them. You can also Dismiss these characters from your roster to send it back to where it came from. In return for doing so, you will receive a Spirit Core and SP.
  3. Welcome to SmashUltimateTools! This is a site that I made for fun to improve my skills with PHP, HTML, JS, and CSS. It features a couple of different tools I made over time for modding Smash Ultimate (it's already been a year and a couple of months now!).

DLC characters for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate have been equally surprising and exciting in recent months, with unlikely characters such as Steve and Sephiroth coming out of nowhere and securing a spot on the ever expanding roster. It seems that the addition of these unlikely Smash characters has emboldened some fans, leading to the most recent mega poll for the next DLC character being filled with some unusual choices. Surprisingly, this mega poll saw Dr. Eggman from Sonic the Hedgehog in 15th place, with a staggering 1154 votes to his name. Even outside of this poll, a quick Twitter search for the name 'Eggman' reveals that there are a ton of players requesting this character.

The next Super Smash Bros. UltimateDLC character might be announced at tomorrow's Nintendo Direct, but this isn't guaranteed. The huge push for Dr. Eggman as a character is a somewhat recent development and likely won't affect whatever this new character is, but it's certainly amusing nonetheless. One would think Shadow, Tails, or Knuckles would earn this kind of support, but not Dr. Eggman.

Just so your know, miifighter is the code name for the Mii Brawler. Mii Swordfighter is miiswordsman, while Mii Gunner is miigunner. And just to help your out further, miienemyf, miienemys, and miienemyg are the code names used for the Mob Smash Mii Fighters. Also, you misspelled Squirtle's code name, as it's supposed to be pzenigame.

In fact, many players have been asking for Shadow to appear as an echo fighter of Sonic for quite some time now, but this is unlikely for a number of reasons. The biggest reason is that fans would likely be disappointed to get an echo fighter as a paid DLC character since they are mostly the same as the character they are based on. To be fair, Tails also appeared on this poll and ranked above Dr. Eggman at 13th place with 1239 votes, but that isn't a huge margin.

Let’s see here, Sakurai has been adding overdue villains (Krool and Sephiroth). Sakurai says “hoho” twice in this tweet. Who’s a villain that says “hoho”? Eggman of course. And what year is it? The year of Sonic’s 30th anniversary. I’ve “cracked” the code, Eggman for smash

Shadow and Knuckles also made it into the top 50, so there seems to be a general desire for more Sonic the Hedgehog characters in the game. On Twitter, various people are sharing their support for Dr. Eggman by trying to find hints that he'll be the next character. Others make big promises like the one seen above. Given that this tweet already has 1,244 retweets at the time of writing, he is going to be busy for quite a while if Dr. Eggman is announced at tomorrow's Nintendo Direct.

Ultimately, whatever character will be announced tomorrow has already been decided, and it's likely that this is the case for the entirety of the season pass. Nevertheless, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has been giving special attention to villains with the addition of characters like King K. Rool, Sephiroth, and Ridley, so this theory about Dr. Eggman isn't too far off the mark.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is available now on Switch.
